Founded in 2009, Family Society is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
Adoption Focus is Family Society’s registered adoption agency. Adoption Focus has been operating since June 2009 and rated as ‘Outstanding’ on every occasions it has been inspected.
The Triangle Project is an independent fostering agency operated by Family Society. Triangle Project was established in 2018 to provide Fostering for Adoption placements with carers who are dual-approved as foster carers and adopters.
In addition to our core adoption work, Family Society provides a Schools Social Care Service, supporting schools and individual pupils across a range of issues to eliminate barriers to learning.
Family Society is also working with Birmingham Children's Trust to support the launch and development of Adopt Birmingham, a new Regional Adoption Agency, providing advice and expertise from a voluntary agency’s perspective.
