The leading voluntary adoption agency in the Midlands
Adoption Focus one of the leading voluntary adoption agencies in the Midlands and one of the largest in the country. We specialise in adoption and provide a friendly, caring and professional adoption service. Our vision is to provide every child who needs a new family with adopters who want to parent them with care, love and understanding. We place the welfare of children at the heart of our service provision and we are committed to providing excellent adoption support to all of our families to help our adopters provide safe, happy homes where their children can thrive.
We will take you through the entire adoption process from preparation and assessment, to approval, family finding, placement and supporting you and your children.
Our main office is in Marston Green, Birmingham, and we work with adopters and prospective adopters across the whole central region. Most of the work we do with potential adopters is done remotely or in their home, and we have staff working throughout central England to work with them and support them.
Ofsted Outstanding rated adoption service
Adoption Focus a charity and is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted, as it has been each time we have been inspected, most recently in 2024.
"Achieving positive outcomes for children is at the heart of what this agency does.." Adoption Focus Ofsted inspection report, June 2024
We also provide the more child-focused early permanence and fostering for adoption routes to adopting a child through the Triangle Project. This approach sees children placed with foster carers who have also been approved as foster carers, reducing the number of moves a child experiences whilst in the care system. If the courts decide that the child should be placed for adoption, the fostering placement becomes an adoption placement.
